Yep...gave up a Monday night home with the family to sit and listen to our school board meeting.
As a new Co-President of our version of a PTA called SSS, it was important that I be there. Learned a lot...but always do. I so wish I lived in the school district, cuz' I would run to be on the school board!
But, they approved going forward with pursuit of a Bond issue to be placed on the November ballot! This a going to be very cool & very fun! I am looking forward to it.
Then afterwards.....spent time in the parking lot talking with Trinity & Carla...other SSS junkies.
Yes...I am a busy Mom. Life is changing around here. I am getting a job. Hubby is retiring. And kids are striking out on a new normal....wonder how its going to work out?
